X200 is a metallic composite pipe based on aerospace materials and construction methods. It offers a new technique for low cost pipeline construction which is suitable for all onshore gas and oil pipelines. The system is considerably (60%) thinner and lighter than conventional linepipe products. X200 can be produced at the construction facility using a portable manufacturing line. Pipestream's XHab technology is designed to efficiently add steel wall thickness to existing corroding pipelines while they are in operation. By means of bell hole excavations sections of pipe can be exposed for cleaning, blasting and overwrapping using Pipestream's proprietary equipment. XHab rehabilitation technology can benefit owners where population encroachment has caused their pipeline to be de-rated.
